Edinson Cavani is eager to make an exit from PSG and move in with Manchester City after falling out with team-mate Neymar, according to a report in Spain.
Don Balon claim that the Uruguayan is keen to sign for City because he believes he will get more chance to register more goals there than at any other club.
Cavani and Neymar had a public falling out after disagreeing over a penalty and free-kick duties during a 2-0 win over Lyon earlier this season. The pair appeared to have forgotten all about the issue in recent weeks, but the Spanish publication claim Cavani remains determined to leave France.
Cavani believes his row with Neymar has ‘harmed him’, with Don Balon claiming that the former Napoli forward will say his goodbyes at PSG ‘sooner or later’. The 30-year-old is said to have informed the club officials of his desire to choose his next destination, with Premier League Leaders City his first choice.

Real Madrid is also believed to be trying to get Cavani’s signature in January, although that could depend on the goalscoring form of Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, and Karim Benzema. Cavani is said to have considered a move to Manchester United, but currently, sees a move to the Etihad as his most attractive option.
However, with Gabriel Jesus and Sergio Aguero in outstanding form so far this season, it remains to be seen whether Guardiola will want to spend on another striker during the January transfer window.
