According to reports, Bayern Munich is considering making a move for Arsenal’s Olivier Giroud.
The Arsenal striker has fallen out of favor at the Emirates in the past year and came close to sealing a move to Everton this summer.
Giroud rejected the Toffees’ offer at the last minute, opting to fight for his place in Arsene Wenger’s team. Yet so far, things haven’t panned out the way he planned.
The Frenchman is yet to start a game in the Premier League and is currently acting as a substitute to club-record signing Alexandre Lacazette.
It now seems Bayern Munich are intent on reinforcing their striker force to lift some burden off top scorer Robert Lewandowski.
The Poland international has been putting his talent on full display this season, scoring 20 goals in 21 games for club and country.
A move away from the Emirates to the Allianz Arena may not be the best of decision for Giroud with next summer’s World Cup fast approaching.
