Zlatan Ibrahimovic set for a miracle comeback

Romelu Lukaku may soon find himself out of the regular starting line-up at Manchester United.

According to an incredible report on Sunday, Zlatan Ibrahimovic could soon be joining the Red Devils on the pitch. Zlatan featured for the Red Devils last season. The Swede scored over 20 goals for United as Jose Mourinho lifted the League Cup and Europa League in his debut season at Old Trafford.

A few weeks ago, Ibrahimovic confirmed he will be staying on at United as he has signed a new one-year extension, although he is still not ready to resume action yet.

Ibra’s 2016-17 season ended when he sustained ligament damage against Anderlecht. He has been on the treatment table ever since, although Zlatan seems to be going against all odds regarding his predicted comeback time.

When the injury first strike, many were of the opinion that Zlatan would not be back to action until after the 2018 New Year. But that return date has been significantly revised.

According to the Sun, it’s highly possible that Zlatan Ibrahimovic could be back playing in October. Readers are told:

Jose Mourinho is set to be boosted by the return of Zlatan Ibrahimovic from a knee injury, with the Swede only two to three weeks away from a miracle comeback.

In three weeks’ time, Manchester faces a tight schedule as Tottenham are scheduled to visit Old Trafford. United then face off with Benfica in the Champions League on Halloween While Jose Mourinho travels to Stamford Bridge on November 5 to take on Chelsea.
