Liverpool and Manchester City join forces ahead of Saturday’s clash

Liverpool have joined hands with Manchester City to provide Samba beat at the Etihad on Saturday.

The Reds have joined forces with their Premier League rival to organize a private jet to bring their Brazilian players back in time for the lunchtime showdown.

Liverpool duo Roberto Firmino and Philippe Coutinho are putting on the show for their country this evening in their last World Cup qualifier in Colombia.

And the pair, along with City trio Gabriel Jesus, Ederson and Fernandinho, will then jet in to England on the specially-commissioned flight, alongside Chelsea winger Willian.

The party will commence their journey immediately after the game in the Colombian city of Barranquilla and are expected to arrive United Kingdom early on Wednesday morning, providing them with ample time to prepare for Saturday’s 12:30 kick-off at the Etihad.

It’s the latest occasion Liverpool and City have worked together to fly their players back after international duty.

Back in November, the duo teamed up with Paris Saint-Germain to fly in their Brazilian stars in time for the Weekend’s domestic matches.
