Celtic have been recently linked with an interest in Red Star Belgrade player Vujadin Savic.
But according to the Scottish Sun, the report which emerged in Serbia claiming Celtic is planning a move for Vujadin Savicis is just hearsay which should not be believed.
The Daily Record claimed that links in Serbia had suggested that Celtic have made all necessary preparations to sign Savic from Red Star Belgrade.
The defender is valued at £1.5 million, and has been offered out to clubs.
However, the Scottish Sun claim that Brendan Rodgers has no interest whatsoever in the acquiring the centre-back.
Celtic are likely to reinforce their defence in the summer transfer window, with Brendan Rodgers keen to add to his side’s backline, but Savic seems not to be on his wishlist.
The 27-year-old has made 30 appearances for Red Star this season, but is no transfer interest for Celtic.
The Bhoys added Marvin Compper to their squad in January and Kristoffer Ajer is developing into a fine player, so Rodgers can afford to be picky when considering new targets in the summer.
