Premier league rivals, Arsenal and Tottenham are currently among the top clubs keen on signing Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos.
The 21-year-old has just moved to the Bernabeu Stadium from La Liga contenders Real Betis this summer for a fee of €18 million, and has reportedly been frustrated with the game time he has been getting.
Ceballos managed only two league starts under Zinedine Zidane and in hopes of featuring in World Cup 2018, he would be in search of a first team football away from the Bernabeu.
According to reports from Calcio Mercato, two Serie A and two English clubs are currently gunning for the signature of the displeased midfielder. The two Serie A club will be AC Milan and AS Roma while the other being two North London clubs – Arsenal and Tottenham.
The Spanish midfielder was brought in by club president Florentino Perez, to add more Spanish players to the team. But it seems the player does not fit into Zidane squad, and top European clubs will be planning a bid in January.
Amid Interest, Real could stop a move to the clubs by making a transfer deal back to Real Betis on Loan.
Meanwhile, Zidane is said to be planning to clear out some players in his squad due to bad performances this season – with Gareth Bale among the eight players to be offloaded.
The Manager has revealed the players who are not part of his plans at the Bernabeu to the Los Blanco’s’ President Diaro Gol.
Despite not getting enough game time, Ceballos has managed to bagged two goals in 11 appearances having only four starts for the Spanish Giants this season.
