Celtic to make a move for Croatian duo this January

The Daily Record have broadcasted the news from Croatia with regards to potential interest from Celtic in two HNK Rijeka players, Dario Zuparic and Filip Bradaric.

Manager Brendan Rodgers has repeatedly emphasized there will be new arrivals at Celtic Park this winter transfer window, as some players are heading for the exit door.

Erik Sviatchenko has already reunited with his former club Midtjylland on loan, and Jozo Simunovi is expected to say his goodbyes by the end of January. So, Dario Zuparic might be signed as a backup option for Marvin Compper and Mikel Lustig.

On the other hand, Bradaric is a strong midfielder that can bring some energy to the Hooks midfield.

However, the player has recently declared his desire to remain at Rujevica until the end of the season to boost his chances of being selected for the Croatia World Cup squad.

Both players are inexperienced on the international front, and it is still unknown how much Rijeka would demand for the duo, so these deal might just not see the light of day.
