Arsene Wenger Keen to keep Ace in January transfer window – Amid Interests

Arsenal boss, Arsene Wenger is said to be keen on keep England International Theo Walcott in the coming January transfer window. The Arsenal Striker has been struggling for more game time in the Gunners’ squad and has been leading the Arsenal “B team” consistently for fixtures in the Europa League and Carabao Cup.

The 28-year-old was previoulsy diagnose with a sickness bug last month and he is yet to feature in any Premier league match since October, playing just 46 minutes of top-flight football in only three substitute appearances.

Rumours have begun to spread about Everton boss, Sam Allardyce to take a move for the English player in January in hopes to find the perfect striker that could regain Everton’s top form back in the campaign, after losing seven matches in 15 matches played.

But the Arsenal manager dismisses all rumour pertaining to the English player leaving the club in winter

Wenger said: “He works hard to come back,”

“He had a sickness a few weeks ago. After I didn’t change squad. In training he looks sharp and he will show that.”

Walcott was said to have just only 18 months left on his current contract with the North Londoners, and in the mid-season of this campaign his future at Emirates will be known.

Wenger has promised to the player more game time in the Premier league, but after earning himself a 47 England caps, Walcott will be looking to revive his career and it could be away from Gunners.
